I Can Only Imagine

I love buying new pieces for my wardrobe as much as the next person, but I also believe in 'make do and mend'.
I had been hoping to find the perfect slip dress with lace trim, but much to my disappointment I failed miserably!! Never the less, I continued forward in my quest and I stumbled upon this little one. I love it dearly and have worn it many a time (including this post!), but I thought it was time for a revamp and the sewing machine was pulled out!

Zara is always my go to for show stopping pieces and as always they delivered. I can make a statement without having to say a word - literally..

Definitely not hiding from the camera..

(Black lace can be found in any good fabric or haberdashery shop)

If you ever get bored with an item of your wardrobe see if you can give it a revamp before you part with it!!

Little Monsters

I love this coat, but at the same time it makes me sad..
It's from Nasty Gal, and if you haven't heard of them (you should have) they're American based which is all fine and dandy until you get hit with custom charges, which makes this coat bitter sweet as sadly it will be the last thing I buy from the company!! (I'm a part-timer after all)

If I can mix ease and style in a piece clothing I'll go for. Camisoles are my favourites as they're so easy to layer and look just as fab tucked in a skirt or trousers as out!! Palm and Hawaiian prints are non-stop this season so I couldn't help but nab this little one from Dorothy Perkins!

This outfit is my current go to when I want to look a bit more glam without looking over the top for the bars!!

Statement Necklace - Zara
Leigh Jeans - Topshop
Orange Waist Belt - Vintage
Black Suede Block Heels - Clarks

Thank you to Pip for my photographs!!

Shells Of Silver

I whipped out my trusty Levi's for this post as discussions of my summer plans left me in a festival mood!!

These sandals have been ridiculously hard to get hold of after selling out constantly. Luckily I managed to nab myself the tan pair but I'm still hoping for the black ones to reappear!!
Fingers crossed!!

Even through much trying I failed to get both my sunglasses and my floral headband to sit on my head without looking like a muppet therefore the look is only manageable if I plan on wearing my sunglasses all day!!

Floral Headband - Made Myself
Mirrored Sunglasses - C/O Asos
Pale Blue Cardigan - H&M
Levi Short's - Ebay
Brown Waist Belt - Vintage
Tan Lattice Sandals - Matalan
