It's a Tartan Christmas

This tartan dress got me really into the Christmasy mood, even more so when I found these red berries as a back drop, very festive!! :)

I know tartan is normally signified with winter and Christmas but I am determined to find the right accessories to bring this into spring/summer because I just can't bare to only wear this for one season.

Its got so cold outside that one pair of tights just isn't enough but instead of layering them up I've now invested in over the knee socks, super cute and practical at the same time!!

Thank you to Pip :)

Have you ever noticed how hard it is to find long sleeved jumpers that you actually love?!
It has taken me weeks but I have finally found one (yeah, one..)

And when I say 'long sleeved', I mean this as noticeably longer than my summer tops..

Black has it all.

Sorry for the lack of blog posts in the last few weeks, trying to organise an opportunity to take pictures around jobs, daylight and the weather has been a nightmare!!

I think this outfit is really sophisticated, the glitz of the boucle jacket keeps the monochrome light hearted and fun, working just as well for a date as it would for work meetings.

I'm always a fan of black clothing as I like to use bright coloured accessories to keep it fresh but with this outfit I've kept it simple with just the turquoise ring and silver necklace as so many of the other pieces speak for themselves.

Absolutely love this leather look skirt, its the perfect fit, brilliant quality and the seam detailing adds interest excelling from all other brands!!

Thank you again to Pip for freezing for me!! :)

Mine

How old does something have to be to be classed as vintage?!
I got bought this top soo long ago it could quite possibly be!!

I hate tops that are too high but I've decided to embrace it as I love the romantic goth feel!

Euphoria

If I could have a wardrobe full of leather jackets I would.

I can't believe I didn't own one until last winter, what had I been doing with my life!?
If you're still trailing behind on the leather front then you must go.. GO NOW!!

Everywhere is stocked high with leather jackets this time of year. If you have the money to invest in real leather then its a definite must but if not I wouldn't worry, there are so many imitations on the high street that you'll be the only one who knows!!

Last Request

Fur is a winter staple.

Personally, I couldn't wear real fur. Vintage or ecologically sourced, it's not for me.

There are so many quality faux fur pieces all over the high street you can grab the same glamour for a fraction of the price..

Markets are absolute gems for picking up a beautiful bargain.
I found this 100% silk blouse with lace detailing for £2!!!
