My 2014 Wishlist - Part One..

So it's the second day of January and I'm already lusting after a ridiculous amount of items which might end up damaging my bank balance but with these items in my wardrobe I would be quite happy.

As much as I love frosty mornings and Christmas I am a summer baby at heart, so now that the festive season is over I'm counting down the days until I can ditch the woolly tights and thermals and bring out the sun cream. The majority of my items reflect spring summer trends (I'm horrendous at dressing for cold weather) as it won't be long before these hit the stores and I'm desperate for a holiday, but for the time being I haven't included any bikini's..

I'm not sure why the quality of the images has deteriorated so badly once uploaded but I wanted to get this post up so I shall work on improving the quality and replacing these asap!!

From Left to Right:

Pins & Needles Lace Collar Blouse - Urban Outfitters
Everyone needs a white blouse in their wardrobe, it is a must have that will never fail. I found this adorable new take on the classic and fell in love. It is perfect for SS14 with semi sheer fabric and a lace collar creates a delicate and feminine silhouette. The long sleeves means it will be durable enough to see you through the rest of the winter with some layering whilst also being light enough for when it starts to get warmer. This would work perfectly with a tailored skirt of pair of shorts!!

Cream Caged Front Crop Top - Glamorous
My body shape suits high waisted skirts and shorts which is why I love a crop top, I'm so fed up with one garment being hidden beneath another which makes this top perfect. Perfect length to avoid distraction from my bottom garment whilst having the detailing on the top section so it holds its own within an outfit.

Jacket in Longline and Texture - Asos
I wanted a coat which will work for both seasons for which this is perfect. The length is brilliant for enough cover during the cold but the lightweight material makes it versatile for spring/summer. Grey is a neutral colour which will carry you through every season.

Duchess Satin Midi Skirt - Topshop
Anything that makes me feel like I walked onto the set of Grease is a love of mine! Not one for petite girls as midi skirts can be shortening but it will look fabulous on anyone with long legs giving an amazing hourglass silhouette!! Pastels will as always be a key trend throughout both Autumn/Winter and Spring/Summer so this piece will always work within your wardrobe.

Floral Printed Trousers - Zara
Florals will of course be another trend that appears every Spring/Summer and no better way to wear them than these gorgeous fitted trousers. Perfect with classic block colours or even a contrasting print worked with neutral accessories, if you're feeling daring. These trousers could also be worn through the year to Autumn/Winter with the right pieces, working winter florals into your wardrobe aswell.

Green Scribble Leaf Skort - Topshop
Continuing along the nature theme this skort is both gorgeous and practical. If flowers aren't your thing then this is the perfect way to approach the trend.

Part two of my wishlist featuring accessories will be up on the 4th of January!!
